When God Made Me--Volume 1--and Giveaway!
When God made Duncan, he made a Builder, a Fixer, and a designer.
Duncan is ten (and look at that peek inside of the church!).
When God made Malcolm, He put a big appetite and made me fast. And put a video game disc in and a joke and a hug. And hobbit feet.
Malcolm is eight (wearing a hat & headphones, and his feet are amazing!).
When God made Ciara, He made me kind to others and love fashion. He made me love drawing and making stuff out of paper. And my cat Pasha.
Ciara is six and is giving a lady the wallet she dropped (thanks for acting on your kindness, Ciara!).
When God made Bonnie, He made me with a twirl, because I love twirling and dancing. And singing. Then He made me dance and hop, hop, hop! And don't forget run around in circles!
Bonnie has a rainbow over her head, and she is four (and she runs around in circles and loves to twirl! I'd love to twirl with her)...

A friend sent along these amazing drawings that children in her Sunday school did. March 11 is the day the Lord blessed us with our beautiful youngest son, Patrick, 3 years ago. I am ever thankful God blessed us with him last, he has the energy of an elephant, and is determined to outdo his 3 older brothers!
Would love to meet that little fellow!
God blessed me with 6 beautiful boys, and while they all add their own color to the fabric of our family, I see them as Bulls ready to take life and anyone head on. And while my little Bulls make my home appear as a dirty sty, I know I will miss each and every grubby finger print that continuously decorate my walls and the enormous din that all their voices and hooves make when they all grow up.
Indeed, you are blessed!

One beautiful thing...the bat that is semi-hibernating, and healing, in a tire in our backyard after our kitty got her paws on him/her. Almost everyday we go back to admire it, and find something new to ooh and awe about.

I am always amazed at the beautiful differences between my children. Somehow I thought that, being siblings, they would be very similar. However, I marvel at the lovely uniqueness of each of my three little ones.

I am blessed with two beautiful godchildren and a munchkin in our main church who we have a special friendship with AND I have a wonderful group of Sunday School kids who love learning about God and the Church!

I am moved to tears at the beauty of watching my sweet toddler nurse to sleep. This child so longed for, this nursing relationship so fought for...it's truly evidence of God's grace in my life.

When God made me, He kept everything plain, so I would marvel at the most simple things.
A lovely idea, a way to turn our hearts to the good in the middle of great struggle. Will be working on this with my son!
